The following report was issued after the two-hour Ministerial Council at the
Rome, To-day.
NO ITALIAN COMMENT has yet been made on the signing of the German-Soviet pact and it is still too early to sum up the Italian view. Great prominence, however, is given to the unequi- vocal reply given by the Fuehrer to Mr. Chamber- lain's message, conveyed by the British Ambas- sador.
