To Benefit

THE FIRST CHARITY FOOTBALL GAME of the season will be played on Sunday on the Club ground at 5.30 p.m., in aid of the "Offer Gold Campaign," between Eastern Ath- letic Association, runners up in the First Division, and a selected team from the Rest of the Clubs.

Hong Kong Football Association have given permission for the game to be played provided Eastern secure the neces- sary permission from Government and the Police Depart- ment and arrange for their opponents.

In the latter case the Association are not in a position to field a team as most of the players have not been regis- tered yet, so Eastern had to invite players, with permission from the clubs concerned, to participate in this game.

The Selected team chosen is a fairly strong side and is composed entirely of Civilian or Chinese players.

Tam Kwan-kon, the Interport goal- keeper, will be seen between the sticks while St. Joseph's will furnish the two backs in A. J. Hussain and V. Costa. The latter is making a return to soc- cer this season after an absence of a year due to a damaged ankle sustain- ed at the start of last season.

Yeung Tse-chong, of Kwong Wah, will occupy the pivotal position assist- ed by Honnibal, of Kowloon, on his
