Non-Aggression Pact
To Be Concluded Between Germany And Russia

THE OFFICIAL GERMAN NEWS AGENCY ANNOUNCED IN BERLIN LATE LAST POLAND
NIGHT (SAY REUTER AND TRANS-OCEAN MESSAGES FROM THE GERMAN CAPITAL RECEIVED IN HONG KONG THIS MORNING) THAT GERMANY AND SOVIET RUSSIA HAVE AGREED TO CONCLUDE A NON-AGGRESSION PACT. Herr Joachim von Ribbentrop, the Nazi Foreign Minister, is flying to Moscow to-mor- row (Wednesday) to complete negotiations for the pact. Herr von Ribbentrop will be accompanied by the Under-Secretary of State, Dr. Gaus, head of the legal de- partment of the German Foreign Office; and Legation Councillor, Herr Hewel, head of the German Foreign Minister's personal staff; Dr. Schmidt, head of the Foreign Office press department, and by Herr Schmidt and Herr Bruecklmeyer, Foreign Office officials.
