AUSTRALIAN RUGBY TOUR PROGRAMME
London, August 3-The English Rugby team which visits Australia next summer will leave Tilbury on April 30 on the “Oronsay,” and arrive in Melbourne on May 27. The first match has been fixed for Sydney on June 1: These arrangements were con- firmed at a meeting of the tour sub committee at Manchester, yesterday.

A NEW PROBLEM for football managers has arisen as the result of two Stoke City players sustaining knee in- juries while in camp with a Territorial unit at Newark-on- Trent.
The players' concerned are Freddy Steele, the English international cen- tre forward, and John Challinor, the City's left full-back.
Both were engaged in boxing, not with each other, when they twisted a knee.
