FORCES CO-OPERATE FOR THE TATTOO,

The Aldershot Tattoo this year will demonstrate how closely the armed forces of the Crown now co-operate. A feature will be a flight of troop-car- rying aeroplanes of the R.A.F. sent to the relief of a hard-pressed force. The planes will unload troops and ammunition on the arena, and the force will effect their retirement under the protection of mechanised units of Bren gun carriers. This gigantic wooden plane will be used to bring up reinforcements.

SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATION OF MOBILE FIRST A STATION.-A Mobile. first-aid station built from a 'motor bus, to the design of Captain F. C. Poulton. O B. E. Southport's A.R.P. of ficer, was successfully tested during a demonstration at the Now Hall Hospital, Southport. The bus has folding sides which allow it. to travel as an ordinary vehicle, but when it is stopped it can be opened out, giving it an all over width of 26ft. 6in. Photo shows First Aid men rescuing victims of the gas, attack. They are taken to the Mobile First Aid station for treatment..
