Amazing Nazi Against British
Scornful Speeches By Goebbels And Labour Leader
London, To-day.
Mr. Neville Chamberlain's speech on foreign affairs at Cardiff, and the indignities British subjects are undergoing at Tientsin, led to two extraordinary anti-British speeches by pro- minent Nazi leaders yesterday.
-
Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, spoke scornfully of British threats to Germany and Japan, adding that "there is no force be- hind their threats."
Dr. Robert Ley, Nazi Labour leader, spoke of the “dishonour Britain is having to endure at Tien- tsin and the "failure of the British Empire.”
