BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIP
PENNY AND OMAR WIN EASILY
At the Police Recreation Club A. M. Omar and W. J. Penny beat their clubmates G. S. Ladd and J. Pau by 25 shots to 14 in the Second Round of the Open Pairs Bowls Championship.
Starting with a three the losers had as much of the game until the 10th head when the score was 8-7 in their favour.
A disastrous five on the 14th head was the turning point of the game, as the winners scored another five shots in the next two heads to lead by 21 shots to 9.
W. J. Penny adapted himself bet- ter to the green and was the best player on view.

L. C. R. Souza and C. B. Rosslet beat R. Duncan and A. M. Holland in their continued game at the Kow- loon Football Club by 30 shots to 19. The game was discontinued on Tuesday with the scores at 28-18 in favour of the winners with three more heads to be played.
