Shanghai, To-day. Foreign diplomatic circles to-day are discussing the full implications of the Japanese blockade of Tientsin and Kulangsu, the International Settlement opposite Amoy.
Fears are openly expressed in well-informed quar- ters that the Japanese mutterings of further acts against foreign areas in China are only too likely to be translated into action in the near future.
