Individually, Collyer was - the best player on view. He was very consistent throughout and usually left little more for his skip to do than consolidate.

Haynes took half the game to settle down as he found great dif- ficulty in finding the green. In the second half he played brilliantly, however, and completely oversha- dowed his opposite number.

Lee played a steady game as lead

for the losers who scored on nine heads.

Perkins with his last wood could not draw the shot.

Kowloon Tong, playing at home, were given a good run for their money by Radio and Postal Sports Club. Easily the most impressive visiting pairing were David Leonard, the footballer, and J. Almeda, a left-hander. Leonard hit very hard off the ground and his service was in great working order, scoring several aces,

H. Ling and J. E. Ling, the former one of the stalwarts of last year's team, were the best home pair and dropped only half a point in the three sets.

South China dropped three sets at Craigengower who were well served by Stanley Leonard and E. S. Howard. This couple, who won two sets, received little support from the remainder of the team. however.

I.R.C. gave a surprisingly good display against Recreio and only lost by the odd set. A R. Kitchell and D. M. Razack, and T. Ali and I. Kitchell more than held their own but S. A. R. Bux, and. A. J. Suffiad were unable to win a set.
