AT KING'S PARK

Everything in to-day's lawn bowls progamme is overshadowed by the game at King's Park where, Club de Recreio, champions for the last two years, meet Craigengower, whom they deposed after the latter club had held the honour for the

previous three seasons.

Evidence of the keen rivalry between these two clubs over a period of years is given in the figures which follow: home team's score first in all cases.

Thus over a period of four seasons; honours are even as regards matches with a shots advantage of 15 shots to the Craigengower men: less than two shots difference per game!

another change in putting Moss third man in place of Perkins, receive Kowloon Cricket Club and the result should be pretty close, though in favour of the visitors, who appear to have set- tled down into a useful combination.

At Sookunpoo, the Civil Servants provide the opposition and the home team, although obvious favourites, will. need to go all out to warrant their sup- porters' confidence.

The other match in this division sees Club de Recreio's second string oppos- ed to Kowloon Docks who have to use an "Irishism"-a different team out as usual. I think the Portuguese team will prove just a little too strong for them.

The clash between Hong Kong Foot- ball Club's "A" team and Kowloon Bowling Green Club should prove al- most as close as when they last met at the Valley but the home team may be able to reverse that one shot verdict.
