CHARITY FAIR ON THE PEAK

The Children's Charity Fair ar- ranged for Saturday next, at Sir Robert Ho Tung's residence, 254, The Peak has been postponed for a fortnight until Saturday, June 17th.

The Fair is the second of its kind, organised on behalf of the Hong Kong Branch of the National Asso- ciation for the Care of War Or- phans.

It is hoped that by June 17th., the weather will have had time to settle, race-goers will be relieved of temptations from Happy Valley, the organisera will have had more time to find new and more attractive side shows, and the general public will have had more time to secure tickets, both for the Entrance and for the many attractive prizes which include a $250 Rolex wrist watch, several beautiful dolls a doll's basket, a doll's rubber bath, and numerous other splendid prizes. Tickets are obtainable from the As- sociation's office on the 2nd Floor of the Bank of Canton Building, or from Moutrie's or Tsang Fook's Music Store. As there is a swim- ming pool on the premises, it is hoped to arrange for Swimming and a breeches buoy.
