LIDO SUMMER AMENITIES

·Amenities at the Lido are to be augmented by Summer Dances which are to commence neat Sun- day!

These will be in the nature of Dinner Dances and will function nightly throughout the season, with the exception of Mondays and Tues- days, in the comfortable Restaur- ant Extension,

Here patrons will have the oppor- tunity of enjoying uninterrupted evenings after bathing regardless of weather conditions.

These dances, heretofore enjoy. able will be doubly so, in exquisite environments and on a perfect dance floor.

CABLE SNAPS AT NORTH POINT

One of the Tramway overhead electric cables snapped near the Gen- Station at Power eral Electric North Point yesterday afternoon, resulting in traffic being held up for almost an hour.

Fortunately, there were no pede- strians in the vicinity at the time. Noone was injured.

A repair car was sent out from the Tramway. Workshop and the cable was reconnected. Some 15 tramcars were held up.
