BID FOR BALKAN TO COOPERATION

Close economic union of the four countries forming the Bal- kan Entente, was envisaged by Dr. Gafencu, the Rumanian For eign Minister, in an address at yesterday's opening session of the Entente's Economic Council. Recent happenings, he said, would help to bring this goal nearer realization.

It deserved to be borne in mind, he added, that the Balkan
