There is another possibility which is the nightmare of other countries than Poland only. That is that Stalin and Hitler may suddenly drop their present feud and may agree to repeat the form- er partition of Poland. After all, the government and the condi-. tions in Germany and Russia are now not at all unlike each other, however, much Hitler and his col leagues would furiously deny the fact if it were asserted to them.

Put simply, both are military tyrannies in which liberty sim- ply does not exist. There is a conundrum circulating in whis- pers in Germany at present which has quite a significance behind it. It is: "What is the difference between Soviet Russia and Nazi

Thus there are great issues for the whole world dependent on the unknown character and policy of Stalin and what he will do in the possibly very near future,
