Another Moan By Signor Gayda: Twixt War & Peace
Rome, To-day. Mussolini's Turin speech has been followed up by an article by Signor Gayda in "Giornale d'Italia."
In his article, which is headed "Between war and peace," Signor Gayda says that the state of affairs prevailing to-day cannot be described as peace.
He calls it the initial stages of an economic war started by the Anglo-Saxon race.
"Italy wants peace," he says, "but the present state of affairs justifies every doubts as to the possibility of peace."
Signor Gayda enunciates three points, which, he says, should be carried out. They are:
