In this connection it is stressed that public opinion in the northern countries is absolutely unanimous in refusing to contemplate the pos- sibility of any of them ever taking part in an attack on any nation.
FINCHER-GITTINS WEDDING AT ST. ANDREW'S
TWO WELL-KNOWN HONG KONG FAMILIES WERE UNITED BY THE WEDDING THIS AFTER- NOON OF MISS IRENE ELEANOR GITTINS, AND MR. ERNEST FRANCIS FINCHER.
The marriage took place at the St. Andrew's Chuch, and the bride was attended by Miss Molly Churn and Miss Marjorie Fisher as bridesmaida and Miss Sheila Hall, as flower girl.
The bride who was attired in a gown of white organdie and lace, was given away by her father.
Mr. Liddon Cole was best man. A reception was held at the St. Andrew's Church Hall.
Part of the honeymoon is being spent at Repulse Bay and the happy couple are leaving for a round the world trip on Friday.
