Two Chinese who were caught between a bus and a parked pri vate car (No. 203) into which it swerved, had a remarkable 'escape this afternoon.

Fortunately, the collision was oblique and neither was actually pinned between the two vehicles. Both were injured; however, and sent to the Queen Mary Hospital, where they were allowed to go home after treatment.

The incident occurred on the Praya.
