Scots Team For Canada

London, April 18.-The 17 players to comprise the Scottish team which will tour Canada and the United States next month were chosen at a meeting in Glasgow 'yesterday of the Selection Committee of the Scottish Football Association. They are:-

his studies, and there may be ́other players in a somewhat similar poal- tion. The main reason for several well- known names being missing; however, is that only players ro-signed for next season can be chosen, and a large number of "stars" have not yet come to terms with their clubs.

NOT FULLY REPRESENTATIVE

On the face of it, the players chosen can hardly be regarded as fully re presentative, but they should be able to produce clever sides, with a great deal of experience in the rear ranks, which contain a number of veterans.

Actually, there are but five Scottish internationalists in the team-Daw- Bon, Carabine, Gray, Dykes, and M'Nab-although Ellis has played for Wales, and Lyon, M'Kenzie, and Cas- kie for the Scottish League.

It may be a surprise to find Garrett as the forvard leader, but he is a good type for such games as will be undertaken.
