sent at a charge of 5/- for 12 words.

The scheme covers the whole Empire, including mandated terri- tories, with the temporary excep- tion of India, Burma, Canada, the Sudan and Trans-Jordan.

FRENCH GIVE WARNING TO JAPAN

It is learned that the French authorities have warned the Japanese govern- ment against further flights by Japanese warplanes over French Indo-China.

The warning was given after Chinese notification that the Japanese planes which raided Mengtaz in Yunnan and attacked the No. 19 Eurasia plane on April 13 took off from Weichow Is- land south of Pakhoi, cut across French territory to penetrate into Yunnan. Central News.
