Easter week-end saw a lively beginning to the camping season for the Territorials, thousands of whom had their first taste of bar- rack life under canvas. Dr. Lillie Killed Within Few Hours Of Arrival

Shanghai, To-day. Details have just become available of the fatal acci- dent involving Dr. Bertram Lillie, President of the Lester Institute, yesterday.

Dr. Lillie was driving in Hongkew with his wife as passenger when he collided with a Japanese motor-bus.

Mrs. Lillie was seriously injured and underwent an emergency oper- ation at the General Hospital.

She pleaded in vain to be taken home to attend to her baby who was suffering from whooping cough.

An English police sergeant, R. J. Wimsett, was also seriously injur- ed, as was a Japanese bluejacket, who for reasons not yet clear, was on the running board.
