Anglo-Rumanian Talks Described As Satisfactory
NO REPLY YET TO MOSCOW PROPOSALS
London, To-day.
Yesterday's Anglo-Rumanian discussions are sum- med up as a satisfactory exchange of views, says Reuter's diplomatic correspondent.
The morning's conversations at the Foreign Office included general consideration of the European situation, with particular reference to the posi- tion of the Balkans and the relations of Britain, France and Rumania.
Mr. Neville Chamberlain joined in the talks in the afternoon.
It is understood that economic questions have not yet been touched upon but may arise at a later stage..
HERR WOHLTAT MEETS WITH A DIFFICULTY
