It is claimed in Berlin that a German Junkers twin-engined bomber has set up a world record by flying 621 miles, with a pay load of two tons, at an average : speed of 321 mp.h.

The record was previously held successively by five Italian aircraft, fat a speed of 295 m.p.h.
