DON BUDGE NOT ENGAGED
New York, April 2. Reports that Donald Budge, the lawn tennis player, had become engaged to Miss Edith Wright, a radio entertainer, are .without foundation, according to Mr. Salisian, one of Budge's closest friends.
He told Reuter in New York "Don is definitely not engaged to Miss Wright, They are just good friends. I know that for a fact for I have often talked with Donald about the reports and he has told me that there is no truth in them. It is just a lot of mis- leading publicity.”—Reuter.
