The ship had loaded salt in Chuan Bay near Amoy and was proceeding to Sharp Peak at Foochow when it was stopped and "taken into custody" to Baku, in the Pescadores.

The ship left Hong Kong last week and is in charge of Captain J. M. Morren with a Chinese crew of about 18 mon. The ship is expected to be released soon.
