SENTENCES ON HEROIN PILL MAKERS
Found guilty of unlawful posses- sion of 3,694 heroin pills and 342 1/5 ounces of pink mass con- taining heroin, a Chinese youth, You Wei-sin, and an elderly Chin- ese woman, Ho Hei, were, respec- tively, sentenced to two and a half years' and two years' hard Jabour by the Puisne Judge, Mr. Justice R. E. Lindsell, at the Crimiñal Sessions this morning.
The Jury empanelled were Messrs. J. Harrop (Foreman), Lo Ying-yuen, W. 0. Nodes, Ho Chung-chow, Lui In-tso, Luk Ting-cheung, and R. Woodcraft.
Mr. M. J. Abbott, Assistant Crown Solicitor, stated that on February 6, Revenue Officers J. L. Stephens and H. Millington, accompanied by Mr. H, A. Taylor, Government Monopoly Analyst, and a raiding party visited the third floor of No. 8 Clarence Terrace, West Point. The door was opened by Ho Pei. The only other person on the floor was a child.
