Architects Plan New Britain Healthy Towns, Green Belts, And Traffic Safety
Beating Nazi Road 'Ballyhoo'
Plans for a new Britain with healthy towns, green belts and open spaces, and free, safe move- ment of traffic, will be shown at a Road Architec- ture Exhibition which the Royal Institute of Bri- tish Architects is organising as its major exhibition for 1939.
It will be opened by Mr. Herbert Morrison, M.P., creator of London's Green Belt. .
The exhibition forms part of the R.I.B.A.'s drive to secure a national survey of the whole coun- try in place of existing town planning which is considered to be far too limited in its scope to bej effective.
