Five words in a £568,000 will mean that 100

people are in doubt whether or not they will receive legacies totalling about £90,000.

The words are, "Failing appointment by my brother," contained in the will of 83-years-old jewel broker, Sir Arthur Levy.

And they mean that Sir Arthur left the final decision as to the disposition of his property to his brother, Mr. Alexander Michael Levy, aged 81, or failing such decision, then he bequeathed the pro- perty to certain other people mentioned in the will.
