In the House of Commons last night, Lt.-Col. Muir- head, Under-Secretary for India and Burma, moved that the Shan States Federal Fund Or- der be made in the form of a draft laid before Parliament. Lt. Col. Sir Arnold Wilson (Conservative) asked whether any provisions had been made with a view to preventing the almost unlimited incur- sion of Chinese into the Shan States in conse- quence of construction of the new Burma road.
