Arabs Mystified By Report of Revised Proposals

The British and Arab delegations to the Palestine Conference held a lengthy meeting yesterday morning and continued discussion of the Bri- tish suggestions and Arab objections. meeting will be continued to-day, Yesterday's meeting of the Jewish conference com-

Reuter is informed in authoritative Jewish quar- ters that the afternoon meeting of the Jewish conference committee was postponed because it was thought that last night's informal meet- ing with the British Government delegates might make it clear whether or not the British suggestions were liable to modification.

If they are so liable, then to day's meeting of the committee is expected to discuss counter-propos- als to be put forward by the Jewish delegates.
