IN CHINA
London, To-day.
"Is there a war between Japan and China?” was the question raised by a case in which the Court of Appeal gave a decision yesterday. Last May, Mr. Justice (now Lord Justice) Goddard held that a state of war existed in the sense in which the ordinary commercial man would use the word war "without going into the niceties of international law."

Giving judgment dismissing Sub-Inspector
the appeal, the Master of the Rolls said that Mr. Justice Goddard that the game was going on at the Kennedy Town cattle sheds. The was manifestly right.
War might break out without police carrying out the raid had to the British Government recognis-pass through cattle stalls to a straw stall. Two storm lights were burn- ing it.
Nobody these days would have the temerity to suggest that war cannot exist without a declara- tion of war.-Reuter. ·
