The ceremony of presentation was performed on this occasion by Miss Elizabeth Grayburn, daughter of Sir Vandeluer Grayburn, who presented Mr. Wel with a purse containing ten gold sovereigns, after which, as is customary, Mr. Wei escorted Miss Grayburn into lunch.
