Much, however, will depend on the gie, Malaya's wing threequarters, two packs to-day. H.M.S. ADVENTURE CUP
RUGBY FINAL TO-DAY Eagle To Meet Medway At Causeway Bay
As
a prelude to the Malaya- Club Rugby match at the Valley this afternoon, the final of the H.M.S. Adventure Rugby _Cup competition, between H.M.S. Eagle and H.M.S. Medway and Submar- ines, will be held ́ on the Navy ground, at Causeway Bay, com- mencing at 2.15 p.m. sharp.
His Excellency the Commander- in-Chief, Vice-Admiral Sir Percy Noble will probably be present. There will be no charge for ad- mission:

"It was probably one of the best fullback performances seen in Ma- laya."
There is little more I can add about to-day's match except that His Excellency the Governor, Sir Geoffry Northcote and Lady North- cote will be present and the teams

no means a brilliant player, is very sharply at 4 p.m. and will be re- sound both in attack and defence.
The Malayan backs have not yet heen seen in action except, at prac- tice last Thursday when they were fairly impressive.
Simpson and Ewart, their scrum and stand-off-half, res pectively, are a very sound combination and both have years of experience behind them. Ewart, judging by his form during the last two even- Ings at practice, is likely to be the key man in Malaya's attack, having a keen eye for an opening and being very fast off the mark.
Whatever the outcome of to-day's match, I feel cofident that the for- wards will play a major part. The scrums should be fairly evenly matched in the lincouts, but with Malaya's advantage in weight, they should dominate the loose scrums.
Club's wing forwards will have to bend their full weight to-day and not merely wait for the opportunity to chase the loose ball.

Finally a word or two about the full-backs. MacGrath has had. Д fairly comfortable season and is a great defender, but he must remem G. D. A. Lundon and A. P. Crai-Iber that his position is at full-back
