Fourteen year-old Daphne Walker, after all the glamour and excitement of the skating championships at Wembley, in which she was placed third, has returned to school at West Dulwich. Daphne is just an ordinary, likeable schoolgirl, and thinks little of the glam- our of ice skating. In fact she regards it as hard work and is al- ready thinking of the World's championships at Prague in. February. Photo shows Daphne Walker (right) at her desk. Experts say she will be world champion one day.
