The Grand National entries which have just been published Charlton number 69, which is ten fewer than last year. They include only Arsenni one previous winner, this being Royal Mail, which last March broke Sunderland a blood vessel when trying to follow up his success of 1937.

Royal Danieli, Workman, and Cooleen, second, third, and fourth respectively to Battleship, have been entered again, Cooleen, which has yet to find her form this season, also finished second to Royal Mail in 1937.
