A sensation was caused here yesterday when King Farouk was cheered by the congregation of the Quoson Mosque as Khalif of Islam.

It is significant that among the congregation were Emir. Seifel Islam Hussein of Yem, Emir Fai- sal of Saudi Arabia, Faisal's brother, Emir Khaled, and 500 Egyptian officers.

King Farouk had taken the place of the Imam in the Mosque and led the prayers.-Reuter
