Thirty widowed clergymen are searching for the ideal housekeeper.

She is required to manage the first "college-hotel," which mem- bers of the Retired Clergy Asso- ciation are establishing this year in St. John's Wood, London.

"We intend to convert an old house near Lord's Cricket Ground," the Rev. C. E. Douglas, leader of the Association, who lives at Ken- nington-road, Lambeth, told repor- ters recently. "There we are going to live in an hotel of our own run on a self-supporting basis. But the greatest problem which faces us is

"We want a woman who will combine the qualities of tact and charm to mother 30 retired bache- lor and widowed clergymen-men who are mostly in their 60's, 70's and 80's, and who are naturally rather testy and temperamental.
