SEAMAN CHARGED

George Hennessy, 34, seaman, of the s.s. President Taft, was bound over by Mr. E. Himsworth at the Kowloon Magistracy this morning when charged with disorderly con- duct.

Defendant, said Det.-Sgt. J. F. Scott, missed the vessel at Christ- mas when she sailed for Europe. Yesterday he boarded a Star Ferry at Hong Kong, entered the third class and then went up to the first- class where he used bad language and made himself a nuisance.

When the ferry reached Kowloon, he left the launch and stood at the exit where he accosted and annoyed an unknown European.

A woman named Tong Sau-was treated at the Kowloon Hospital, yesterday for turpentine poisoning. She had taken it by mistake.

JUST RIGHT FOR THE WATER--Sponges are made for the water anyway, `so why should'nt ́ sho utilise them for a bathing costume. And the pretty enough to still look charming in the somewhat un- usual, costume seen on the beach at Miami.
