Francois Poncet, the French Resident-General in Tunis, Eric Labonne, was conferring with Premier Edouard Daladier in plans for the forthcoming visit to Tunis and Corsica.

Later in the day M. Daladier discussed the same subject with M. Bonnet and the Minister of Co- lonies, M. Mandel, who arrived at the War Ministry for a conference of in company of the commander French colonial troops, General Buehrer.
