are 101 ways of Expending Energy

But

only ONE best way to replace it!

TIFE is strenuous during these short Winter

days. There is so much to do in the few hours of daylight-so many calls on your reserves of energy. This is all to the good if you make sure that the energy you expend is quickly and completely replaced.

For this reason proper nourishment and sleep of the right kind are most essential in Winter. Sleep is the time of repair and restoration when strength is renewed and energy stored up.

There is nothing like a bedtime cup of ‘Ovaltine' for ensuring energy- creating and restorative 'sleep.

'Ovaltine' results are obtained

only with ‘Ovaltine' 'Ovaltine' is not only the surest inducer of sleep, but is also the most complete form of nutriment for rebuilding body, brain and nerves while you sleep. 'Ovaltine' supplies the revitalising ele- ments of Nature's finest foods-malt milk and eggs. Although expensive, new-laid eggs are liberally used because they provide important nerve-building properties without which no tonic food beverage would be complete.

CAPT. EYSTON DID 371⁄2 M.P.H.

Record Holder Trapped

}

Capt. George Eyston, holder of the world's motor speed record of 357 m.p.h., was fined 20s at Bow- street for exceeding the 30 m.p.h. speed limit on the Victoria Em- bankment.

A policeman said that Capt. Eyston was timed at 97% m.p.h., and when stopped he said, "I know I was over 80. I thought one was al- lowed to get on with it."

Mr. A. Thomas, for the R.A.C., said that Capt. Eyston was at the Scottish Motor Show. He had writ- ten stating that he always drove with greatest caution. The thoroughfare was a wide one, and there was no one in sight. He was driving one of the latest types of car, fitted with the best of brakes. Capt. Eyston added in his latter that he had, only recently returned from America, and was on Govern- ment work at the time of the offence.

It was stated that there were two previous convictions for speeding and one for driving without due

care.
