On Monday, 28th December and Tuesday, 27th December, the General Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., Sheungwan Branch Post Office will be opened from 8.00 a.m, to 10.00 a.m., and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed.

There will be one collection from the pillar-boxes each day as on Sundays and one delivery of Registered and Ordinary correspondence each day at 11.30 a.m.

The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Tai Po and Un Long will also have one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed during the Holidays.

THE FIRST MAIL

The Public are reminded that sealed letters and packets, irrespective of contents, are classified as first class mail and must be prepaid as such.

Registered and Ordinary mails (not Insured or Parcels) will be accept- ed for Canton and despatched as circumstances permit.

Ordinary letter mail only for West Kwangtung, Kwangsi, Szechwan, Kweichow & Hunan will be accepted at senders' risk.

Letters and Postcards for Europe (except Great Britain and Eire) and South America are forwarded "via Siberia" if so superscribed.
