Shanghai, To-day. According to present ar- rangements, which are tenta- tive, made by the British and American authorities at Kiu- kiang with Chinese and Japan- ese officials; some 35 foreigners are evacuating Kuling for Shanghai on Saturday.
Arrangements provide that British and American officers will escort the party down the hill to Kiukiang where, owing to the smallness of the U.S.S. Monocacy, which is now in Kiukiang, the party will be transported to Shanghai on board a Japanese transport.
The party includes 15 Amer- icans, 15 Britons, two Swedes and one German.
It is stressed that the ar- rangements are only tentative. --Reuter.
