RADIANT GOES TO
STUD
Radiant, a filly for which Miss Dorothy Paget paid 11,500 guineas at the Doncaster yearling sales in 1986, has left Frank Butters's stable at Newmarket for the stud. Radiant won only two races,, worth a total of $1468.
It was at the same sales that Miss Paget gave the record prices for a yearling of 15,000 guineas for Co- lonel Payne, which so far has not won. Tuppence, for which Miss Paget gave 6600 guineas in 1931, won only £53 for her on the flat by dead-heating for a race at Hamilton Park. Tuppence later won a £330 hurdle race, for Miss Paget, and is now abroad.

Davis, as on the two previous days, soon incurred a penalty, and in the playing period of over two hours he gave away 39 points in forfeits, in cluding 23 in one game. It is almost without precedent for Davis to lose seven snooker games in succession in ly easy red.
