HENRY ARMSTRONG FUSES STOLEN

SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDS TITLE

Cleveland, Ohio, To-day. Henry Armstrong, the holder of the world light and welterweight titles, last night obtained a tech- nical knockout decision over Α1 Manfredo, of Los Angeles in the third of a scheduled 15 round con- test for the welterweight, title.

The fight which was arranged by a Cleveland newspaper in aid of Christmas Charity, was terminated in, the third round when the referee stopped the fight after 1 min. 45 Becs.` Reuter.
