KING LEOPOLD VISITS THE NETHERLANDS
Amsterdam, To-day.
King Leopold of the Belgians arrived here yesterday afternoon for a State visit.
Leaving the train he was greeted at the central station by- Queen Wilhelmina and Prince Bernhard, the company afterwards driving through gaily decorated streets to the palace where King Leopold will reside during his visit. A huge crowd lining the entire route to the palace accorded the Royal visitor a rousing welcome.
The festivities arranged in con- nection with the visit include a re- ception of foreign diplomats in the palace and a banquet.
To-day King Leopold accom- panied by the Belgian Premier, Paul Henri Spaak, will visit the Crown Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard at the Soestdijk Palace. -Trans-Océan.
