Lynch's Unexpected Return To Glasgow
Three-Year-Old Son's Illness

London, November 10. Benny Lynch, of Glasgow, the former world's fly-weight cham- pion, made an unexpected return to Glasgow yesterday morning. He travelled from London on the] train arriving in Glasgow at 9.35 a.m., and as he left the train he was practically unnoticed. He immediately proceeded to a taxi, and was driven to a destination in the city.
Lynch, under the supervision of the National Sporting Club in London, had been undergoing a course of treatment in a nursing home in the vicinity of London, and good progress had been re- ported respecting him.
The reason for his dash, he ex- plained to a reporter in Glasgow, was that he wanted to see his three- year-old son, who is ill.
