Eagle's Splendid Rugby Win
Medway And Submarines
Beaten 16-0
ELLIOT AND ROMANS BEST PLAYERS ON VIEW :
(By “REFEREE”)
H.M.S. Eagle yesterday defeated a combined Medway and Sub- marine Rugby fifteen by two goals and two tries (16 points) to nil in what commenced as a scrappy encounter, but which later develop- ed into a thrilling struggle with many fine open movements.
Weakness in and behind the scrum was mainly, responsible for Medway's big defeat and, although they had most of the ball in the set scrums in the first half, their second row were very sluggish in their heeling and refusal to give the ball a clean passage.

With three excellent backs in Kyrke, who made his first ap- pearance for some time, but as full-back, Walters, who played for the Navy last year, and Wells, who played a fortnight ago against the Club, Medway might have scored had these men been given the ball, but it rarely came their way.

K.B.G.C. Consider Changes To Clubhouse
Faced with two schemes for the alteration of their clubhouse and grounds, Kowloon Bowling Green Club members yesterday decided in favour of a plan comprising removal of a portion of the clubhouse to enable extension of the dressing rooms and provision of additional space for social accommodation
