POST OFFICE

GENERAL HOLIDAY

On Monday, 10th October, the General Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to Noon; Sheungwan Branch Post- Office will be open from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., and the other Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed.

There will be one collection from the pillar-boxes as on Sundays; one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.80 a.m., and one, delivery of regis tered correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

The Branch Post Offices at Stanley, Tai Po and "Un Long will also have one delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11.00 a.m.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed.

IMPERIAL AIRWAYS ·

Surcharged air mail letters may be posted in the ordinary posting boxES. They should be clearly marked "By Air Mail" and bear suficient postage. Insufficiently prepaid letters may be taxed with double the deficiency or forwarded by Steamer Service, at the discretion of the Post Office.

VIA SIBERIA ROUTE.

Letters and Postcards for Europe (except Great Britain and Eire) and South America are forwarded. "via Siberia" if so superscribed.

Air Mail Services to Shanghai, Nanking, Tsingtau, Tientsin and Pei- ping are temporarily suspended.

Air Mail Services to Shanghai, Nanking, Taingtau, Tientsin and Peiping are temporarily suspended.

Parcel Post Service to the Province of Yunnan is
