NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, the 24th October, 1938, a drawing for the redemption of thirty (30) Debentures will be held in the Pavilion at 6 p.m.

The numbers of the Debentures drawn will be published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette and the local Newspapers, and holders of drawn Debentures may, upon giving notice to the Trea- surers waiving the six months' notice to which they are entitled, apply on the 31st October, 1938, to the Treasurers, Messrs. Percy Smith, Seth & Fleming, for pay- ment of the principal and interest to the 31st October, 1938.

THE EIGHTH EXTRA RACE MEETING will be held (weather `permitting) · at HAPPY VALLEY on SATURDAY, 8th and MON- DAY, 10th October, 1938, com- mencing at 2.00 p.m. on both days. The First Bell will be rung at 1.80 p.m. on each day.

MEMBERS' ENCLOSURE No one without a badge will be- admitted to the Members' En- closure;

worn such must be throughout the duration of each meeting thefuch a manner as to be readily identified.

Badges admitting Non-Members to the Members' Enclosure and Club Rooms at $5.00 for Gentle- men and $3.00 for Ladies (both including tax) per day are obtain- able through the' SECRETARY upon the personal or written ap- plication of a Member, such Mem- ber to be responsible for all visi- tors introduced by him, and for Payment of all Chits, &c.
