London, September 7.
HE heavy-weight fight between Eddie Phillips THE
and Jack Doyle has been rearranged to take place at Harringay Arena on September 27.
The decision to postpone the contest for a fortnight was announced yesterday by Mr. Sydney Hulls, the promoter, after an examination by two Harley Street doctors of a rib injury received by Doyle in training last week. Doyle, having undergone X-ray examinations some days ago, drove from his riverside home at Maidenhead yesterday to consult his own doctor and the promoter's physician in Harley Street.
