TSUI YUN PUI FULLY EXTENDED
WILL HE LOWER IT?
His approximate time for the quarter mile was only: 26 seconds off the Colony record established by Wilfred Lawrence in 1935 and he stands an excellent chance, of lower- ing that mark, provided he is ex- tended.
(Continued from Page 19) The score-6-4, 6-4-gives an
50 accurate idea of the closeness of the 100 150 play and although Tsui, playing 200 with the utmost confidence through- 250 out, never appeared in any great 300 danger, Szeto deserves the utmost 400 credit for extending him as much as he did,

her lead at the 75 yard mark where she gained half a yard. Miss Churn put everything she had into the last length, but was unable to make up her arrears and- finished up two strokes behind the winner, while Miss Sa Wei-ying, the only Chinese girl in the race, spurted for a well earned third place.
The former pair proved more than a match for the eventual winners
in all phases of the game during this set, chiefly owing to superior com- bination but after the Kowloon Tong pair went out at 8-6, thanks chiefly to some brilliant work on
the part of Pang, they collapsed badly and did not secure a single game in the second set.

His most effective stroke was his forehand drive, well-angled and played with a tremendous amount of top-spin which made it dip in a disconcerting männer.
